Benzodiazepines Effects: Sedation, anxiety relief, muscle relaxation, drowsiness, reduced motor coordination, and cognitive slowing.

Adverse Effects: Common side effects include drowsiness, dizziness, dry mouth, muscle weakness, and blurred vision. Severe effects can include respiratory depression, dependence, and withdrawal symptoms. At high doses, it can lead to unconsciousness or coma, especially when combined with other CNS depressants.
