Can be administered intravenously (IV), orally, insufflated (snorted), inhaled (vaporized), or transdermally. Due to its extreme potency, even small amounts absorbed through the skin or inhaled as airborne powder can cause severe toxicity or fatal overdose.

Opioid Effects: Intense analgesia, deep sedation, and strong euphoria.

Adverse Effects: The primary danger of ohmefentanyl is rapid and severe respiratory depression, which can quickly lead to hypoxia, coma, and death. Other side effects include nausea, vomiting, confusion, dizziness, bradycardia (slow heart rate), hypotension (low blood pressure), muscle rigidity, and pinpoint pupils.

Physical Description:
Ohmefentanyl is usually a white or off-white crystalline powder. It may appear in liquid form when mixed for intravenous or vaporized use. In illicit drug markets, it may be mixed with fentanyl or heroin, making it nearly impossible to distinguish visually.
Side Effects:

Common: Sedation, euphoria, analgesia, respiratory depression, warmth, and relaxation. Users may experience intense itching, nausea, or dizziness, even at tiny doses.
