Treatment Options

Supportive Care:

Ensuring a clear airway, providing oxygen, and using mechanical ventilation if needed.

Antidote:

Overdose can be reversed with naloxone, but due to its high potency, multiple doses may be required.

Pharmacokinetics and Dynamics

Metabolism:

N-Desethyl etonitazene is metabolized primarily in the liver through cytochrome P450 enzymes. Its metabolites are excreted through urine, though the exact metabolic pathway remains less documented compared to more commonly studied opioids.

Drug-Drug Interactions:

As a central nervous system depressant, it poses extreme overdose risks when combined with other depressants, including alcohol, benzodiazepines, and sedatives. It may also interact dangerously with certain CYP enzyme inhibitors, potentially prolonging its effects and increasing toxicity.
