Administration: 

It is typically taken orally as a pill or powder but can also be snorted or, less commonly, injected. Some users dissolve it in liquid for sublingual (under the tongue) use.

Dosage and Effects: 

  • Benzodiazepine Effects: Sedation, relaxation, muscle relaxation, and reduced anxiety

  • Adverse Effects: Drowsiness, dizziness, impaired coordination, memory problems, and confusion. Higher doses can lead to blackouts, extreme sedation, or dangerous impairment of motor skills.

Dose Range (oral):

  • Common: 0.5-2 mg

  • Usual: 1-2 mg

  • High: >2 mg

It is typically found as a white or off-white powder or in pressed tablets. The appearance varies depending on the source, as it is sold illicitly in designer drug markets.

Side Effects:

  • Common: Reduced anxiety, calmness, muscle relaxation, and sedation. It also causes memory suppression (anterograde amnesia).

  • Severe: Can cause severe respiratory depression, unconsciousness, and coma, especially when mixed with opioids or alcohol.
