Treatment Options

Supportive Care: Immediate medical attention is crucial. Supportive care includes maintaining airway, breathing, and circulation.

Antidote: Naloxone (Narcan) is the primary antidote for opioid overdoses and can reverse the life-threatening effects of 4-Fluorobutyryl Fentanyl. Multiple doses of naloxone may be necessary due to the high potency and prolonged effects of fentanyl analogs.

Pharmacokinetics and Dynamics

  • Metabolism: Metabolized primarily in the liver through the CYP3A4 enzyme pathway, followed by glucuronidation.

  • Drug-Drug Interactions: High potential for interactions with other CNS depressants, increasing the risk of severe respiratory depression and death.
