Metonitazene typically appears as a fine powder that is white to off-white in color. When pressed into counterfeit pills or mixed with other substances, its appearance can vary.

Side Effects:

  • Common: Intense relaxation, a sense of well-being, and analgesia. Sedation and drowsiness are typical, and higher doses can lead to stupor.

  • Severe: Profound respiratory depression, cyanosis (bluish skin due to lack of oxygen), coma, and death. Hypoxia resulting from respiratory depression can lead to permanent brain damage if not treated promptly.
