Routes of Administration and Effects

Administration: 

Common routes of administration for α-PiHP include insufflation (snorting), oral ingestion, smoking (vaporization), and occasionally intravenous injection. Smoking is especially favored because it leads to a fast and intense onset of effects.

Dosage and Effects: 

  • Primary Effects: Strong stimulation, euphoria, enhanced alertness, mental clarity, increased sociability, and physical energy. Its subjective effects are often compared to those of α-PHP but described as "slightly smoother" or "less edgy" by users.

  • Adverse Effects: Anxiety, restlessness, hyperthermia (elevated body temperature), hypertension, tachycardia, paranoia, and compulsive redosing. Users often report difficulty sleeping and jitteriness during or after use.

Dose Range (oral):

  • First: 3-5 mg

  • Light: 5-15 mg

  • Normal: 10-30 mg

  • Strong: 30-50 mg

  • Very Strong: 50 mg+

Duration (oral):

  • Onset: 30-60 mins

  • Duration: 2-5 hours

  • After Effects: 6-12 hours

Its pure form tends to be odorless and can vary from off-white to white (35)

Side Effects:

  • Common: Increased talkativeness, a sense of well-being, suppression of appetite, improved focus, and delayed fatigue. Mild jaw clenching or teeth grinding can also occur.

  • Severe: Stimulant psychosis (hallucinations, paranoia, violent behavior), seizures, cardiac arrhythmias, hyperthermia leading to organ failure, and death, particularly at high doses or with binge use over multiple days.
