Administration:

Common routes of administration for α-PiHP include insufflation (snorting), oral ingestion, smoking (vaporization), and occasionally intravenous injection. Smoking is especially favored because it leads to a fast and intense onset of effects.

Dosage and Effects:

Primary Effects: Strong stimulation, euphoria, enhanced alertness, mental clarity, increased sociability, and physical energy. Its subjective effects are often compared to those of α-PHP but described as "slightly smoother" or "less edgy" by users.

Adverse Effects: Anxiety, restlessness, hyperthermia (elevated body temperature), hypertension, tachycardia, paranoia, and compulsive redosing. Users often report difficulty sleeping and jitteriness during or after use.

Side Effects:

Common: Increased talkativeness, a sense of well-being, suppression of appetite, improved focus, and delayed fatigue. Mild jaw clenching or teeth grinding can also occur.

Severe: Stimulant psychosis (hallucinations, paranoia, violent behavior), seizures, cardiac arrhythmias, hyperthermia leading to organ failure, and death, particularly at high doses or with binge use over multiple days.
