Description and Classification

MT-45:

A synthetic opioid analgesic first developed in the 1970s. It belongs to a class of compounds called 1-substituted-4-(1,2-diphenylethyl)piperazines. Though initially investigated for potential therapeutic applications, it was never marketed due to safety concerns.

Relative Potency

Potency: 

MT-45 is considered moderately potent compared to traditional opioids like morphine. Its analgesic effects are weaker than fentanyl but may approach the potency of codeine or tramadol in some cases.

Purpose

It is sought after for its opioid-like euphoria, pain relief, and sedative effects. Its use is often experimental due to the limited knowledge about its safety profile.
