Metabolism:
Flunitrazepam is metabolized into desmethylflunitrazepam via hepatic enzymes. It further metabolizes and is excreted in urine. Its half-life varies but is generally shorter than that of flunitrazepam itself.
Drug-Drug Interactions:
There is a high potential for dangerous interactions with other CNS depressants, alcohol, opioids, and CYP450 modulators.
