Administration: 

It is usually administered orally, but it can also be taken sublingually or intravenously (through the veins).

Dosage and Effects: 

  • Desmethylflunitrazepam Effects: Sedation, relief from anxiety, muscle relaxation, hypnosis, and amnesia.

  • Adverse Effects: Common side effects include drowsiness, dizziness, impaired motor coordination, and memory loss. Severe effects can include respiratory depression, especially when combined with other CNS depressants, and loss of consciousness.

Dose Range (oral):

  • Light: 0.5-1 mg

  • Common: 1-2 mg

  • Strong: 2-4 mg+

Onset and Duration:

  • Onset: 40-60 minutes

  • Duration: 5-10 hours

  • After Effects: 2-12 hours
