Description and Classification

Fluclotizolam:

A triazolobenzodiazepine, a subclass of benzodiazepines with a triazole ring fused to the main structure. It is structurally related to other designer benzodiazepines like clonazolam and flubromazolam. It acts as a central nervous system depressant through potentiation of gamma-aminobutyric acid (GABA) activity, leading to its sedative and anxiolytic effects.

Fluclotizolam is a highly potent benzodiazepine, with effects stronger than many traditional prescription benzodiazepines. It is estimated to be significantly more potent than diazepam and comparable in strength to related compounds like clonazolam.
