Administration: 

Oral ingestion, insufflation (snorting), and intravenous injection. In some cases, it may be absorbed transdermally or used in liquid formulations. Counterfeit pills containing menitazene may be ingested unknowingly.

Dosage and Effects: 

  • Opioid Effects: Profound euphoria, pain relief, sedation, and a sense of relaxation.

  • Adverse Effects: Drowsiness, respiratory depression, dizziness, nausea, and confusion.​

Physical Description: 

Menitazene is usually a fine, crystalline or powdery substance that is white to off-white in color. When mixed with other substances or pressed into tablets, its appearance can vary.

Side Effects:

  • Common: Analgesia (pain relief), sedation, and euphoria. Users may also experience typical opioid side effects such as constipation, dry mouth, and pinpoint pupils.

  • Severe: Respiratory arrest, bradycardia, loss of consciousness, coma, and death.
